SPHERE Nock Collar - Protector Ring

When an arrow hits the target, the carbon shaft may crack or splinter at the front. This happens because the full force of the impact is transmitted through the tip to the shaft and the tip is driven into the shaft. However, the same effect can also occur at the rear end of the arrow at the nock.

To prevent this effect, SPHERE now offers the Nock Collar. The Nock Collar is a protective ring that is glued to the front and back of the shaft and surrounds it by approx. 1 cm or forms a collar around the last centimetre of the shaft. The ring thus prevents the carbon from breaking or splitting at its most sensitive points. It can be used with any insert and with any tip or cam.
